Lil Swatara's Nigerian Dwarfs Sales Contract

IF A DEPOSIT IS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY A SIGNED COPY OF THIS FORM, IT WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED.

THIS AGREEMENT is made on ___________, by and between _________________ residing at________________________________ hereinafter referred to as Buyer, and Lil Swatara's Nigerian Dwarfs, hereinafter referred to as Seller.

Non-refundable deposit in the amount of $200 (per goat), paid by way of (PayPal with debit/credit cards, cashier's check, money order, cash) due in conjunction with this signed sales contract. PAYPAL TRANSACTION MADE ________________ Transaction ID _____________________ DATE ________________

Balance due of $___________ Paid by way of CASH is due at agreed upon date of actual possession and ownership transfer/pick up, and any extra fee associated for health certificate from Vet for Out of State (still waiting for call back).

Buyer agrees to take possession of said goat(s) on this agreed date of sale: ____ weeks old. DATE ___________________ of Pick up.

Registration paperwork (ADGA or AGS or both) will be provided at pickup for ONLY animals sold as registered animals (not pets).  All registration fees are buyer's responsibility. Castrated goats/wethers/pet sales will NOT receive registration papers and will NOT be tattooed. 

  1. SELLER warrants clear Certificate to said goat(s).
  2. SELLER makes NO other guarantees, expressed or implied, including any guarantees to health, color, height, reproduction, show quality, milk production, etc. We do not offer any health or wellness guarantees after the goat has left our property since we cannot control the management of said goat(s) once it leaves our farm. We encourage BUYERS to understand that travel and management change is stressful to said goat(s) and the BUYER is encouraged to make environment and feed transitions slowly to reduce stress to said goat(s).
  3. NO Goat is sold with the guarantee of fertility, longevity, or lasting soundness. All goats leave the farm in excellent health, but since I have no way of knowing under what conditions any sold goat will be living in when off of my farm, I simply cannot guarantee health and longevity past the point of leaving my farm. Keeping the animal in excellent health is the buyer's responsibility once the animal leaves the farm.
  4. SELLER guarantees said goat(s) is healthy at time of sale and BUYER has the option to review the condition and health of the goat, including any veterinary examinations, at BUYER's expense.
  5. All buck and doe kids OVER 6 WEEKS will be disbudded, tattooed, vaccinated for CD/T and wormed. All wethers will be disbudded, vaccinated for CD/T, wormed and castrated/banded before leaving.
  6. Should a doe be sold as a pet/non-breeding animal, no registration papers will be released or given to BUYER at any time.
  7. BUYER has the right to review current blood test results and will receive copies.
  8. Reservations require a non-refundable deposit ($200 deposit per goat) accompanied by this signed contract.
  9. Deposits are non-refundable unless BUYER'S reservation cannot be filled.
  10. If the goat is not picked up by the agreed time on the agreed upon date, the animal will be relisted for sale without refund. Please be advised that there will be no refunds on canceled orders and said goat(s) will be retained or relisted.
  11. In the event of the loss or injury of said goat(s) prior to delivery date to BUYER, SELLER shall refund full deposit to BUYER.
  12. Reserved goat(s) will not leave Lil Swatara's ND, for any reason, until full cash payment is received.
  13. Any animals sold out of state require a Health Certificate in order to be transported across state lines per STATE LAW. Health Certificates will be arranged for by Seller and must be paid for by BUYER in addition to the reservation deposit. (approximately $30 +/- depending on current veterinary fees)
  14. BUYER HAS READ SALES AGREEMENT IN FULL at SALES POLICY PAGE 

Upon breach of this AGREEMENT by one party the other party shall have the option to terminate sale. The laws of the State of Pennsylvania, County of Berks, shall govern this AGREEMENT.
