Elegant, Sweet, and Relaxing

French Lavender & Honey is a creamy goat milk bar with soft lavender, warm honey, and gentle herbal notes. A touch of vanilla adds smooth sweetness, creating a calming floral wash that feels comforting, fresh, and perfect for everyday skin care.

Why Everyone Loves Lil Swatara Soap

Our soaps are known for their creamy goat milk lather, luxurious and gentle feel, and comforting scents. Each bar is handmade in small batches with care, giving a rich, stable lather that rinses clean and leaves your skin feeling extremely soft and comfortable.

Each bar is generously sized EXTRA LARGE ~6oz — far larger than the typical handmade soap bar — giving you more creamy lather, a longer‑lasting wash, and truly exceptional value. As each bar cures, it becomes a firm, long‑lasting soap that holds up beautifully in daily use — a true hard bar that doesn’t melt away quickly.

If you enjoy warm, cozy, or nature‑inspired scents paired with a creamy, nourishing wash, Lil Swatara soaps are made with you in mind.

Craftsmanship, Size & Packaging

Every bar is designed, created, cut, stamped, packaged and cared for by one pair of hands from start to finish. Most of our bars are hand‑stamped using our own custom soap stamps, designed and made here in our workshop. If you’re a fellow maker and love our stamp impressions, you can explore the soap stamps we create in our workshop here.

Cold‑processed using traditional methods. Each bar is hand‑cut at 7oz and cures for at least 4–5 weeks, finishing around ~6oz for a lasting soap bar. As it ages, it will continue to lose weight, becoming even more durable and luxurious.

Handmade Variation: Because each bar is hand‑cut, hand‑stamped, and made in small batches, natural variations in color, swirl, size, and stamping impressions are expected.

Every batch has its own personality! Because we love experimenting with colors and designs, no two batches look exactly the same — while the formula and performance always remain consistent.

Elegantly presented in a beautiful muslin soap sack with custom label. Our muslin sacks are reusable, washable, and eco‑friendly — perfect for storing trinkets, jewelry, hair ties, or even collecting shells at the beach.

Some seasonal soaps may be packaged in clear bags with cute tags to showcase their design — especially for holiday gifting.

Why Goat Milk?

Goat milk naturally contains vitamins A, D, B6, and B12, along with selenium and gentle milk sugars that contribute to a creamy, beautiful lather. Its natural milk fats create a velvety, cushiony wash that feels soft and comforting on the skin.

Fresh milk also contains lactic acid, a naturally occurring alpha‑hydroxy compound that helps create a smooth, luxurious feel in handcrafted soap. These components work together to produce a bar that feels indulgent, rinses clean, and leaves the skin feeling comfortable and balanced.

We use fresh goat milk from our Nigerian Dwarf herd — never powdered — because it performs better, feels richer, and creates a more stable, creamy lather. You can meet the beautiful does who make our soap possible here.

Ingredient Benefits & Highlights

We choose each ingredient for its performance, consistency, and the luxurious feel it brings to the final bar. Our formulations are rooted in traditional soapmaking, focusing on quality and experience rather than trends or marketing buzzwords.

Formulating a bar like this isn’t simple. It requires understanding SAP values, how different fatty acids behave, and how oils, butters, and milk interact at a structural level. This isn’t a “recipe from the internet” — it’s intentional formulation work that creates a stable, creamy, long‑lasting bar every single time.

Our soaps are crafted with gentle, nourishing ingredients traditionally loved in skincare. While we cannot make medical or therapeutic claims, we prioritize ingredients known for creating a comfortable, enjoyable wash experience.

We keep our descriptions honest and within legal guidelines, focusing on experience rather than medical claims.

We Create Our Luxurious Soap With...

Fresh goat milk from our Nigerian Dwarf herd (never powdered), hand‑rendered tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, castor bean oil, sustainable palm oil, sunflower oil, sea salts, aloe, vitamin E, and natural essential oils and/or skin‑safe, phthalate‑free fragrance oils.

Free of low‑quality oils like soybean or canola for a premium soap experience. We source our oils and butters from trusted suppliers and choose ingredients based on purity, skin feel, and reliability — not trendy labels.

ABOUT SODA ASH: A fine, white powdery coating may appear on some bars. This is called soda ash — a natural result of cold‑process soap curing. It's harmless and washes off easily.

ABOUT VANILLIN: Some of our soaps may include vanillin, a natural compound found in vanilla that gives it its cozy, warm, and sweet scent. This ingredient can gently deepen the color of the bar over time. The shift is purely cosmetic and part of the charm of vanilla‑inspired blends.

ABOUT COLORANTS: We use natural clays, botanicals, and skin‑safe, cosmetic‑grade micas to create soft, beautiful colors that complement each scent. Every shade is chosen with intention — never harsh dyes or unnecessary additives.

When using essential oils and fragrance oils, we comply with up‑to‑date IFRA safety standards and usage rates to ensure skin‑safe formulations.

Usage & Care

Wet bar, lather, apply, and rinse thoroughly. Allow bar to dry fully between uses and keep it out of standing water for best longevity. A draining soap dish or soap saver pouch is strongly recommended.

Store unused bars in a cool, dry place. Best used within 12 months for peak scent and freshness.

Natural colorants may soften or fade over time — and essential oils or fragrance oils may also mellow with age. This is normal for handcrafted soap.

ABOUT SODA ASH: A fine, white powdery coating may appear. This is harmless and washes off easily.
